Look out for our own organic beef that is
reared on our farm and will be hung for at least three
weeks. If you know and love fantastic local beef, get in
touch!
Also available is our own organic rose veal, which tastes
wonderful. Rose veal is welfare friendly veal. Our veal
calves have plenty of space to exercise, eat organic hay
and silage, peas and wheat, as well as organic milk. As
they are given these essential freedoms for a happy life,
our veal is not the pure white meat normally associated
with continental veal, where calves have been kept in
crates without access to straw pens. Our veal is a slightly
darker meat because the calves muscles are exercised, and
they roughage in their diet. Hence the name Rose Veal, the
welfare friendly veal.
