WE HAD A SURPRISE VISITOR TODAY!

Mark Burgess visited us today. We knew he would be paying us a visit soon, as we were due to have our dairy inspection at anytime.
Mark works for the Dairy Hygiene Inspectorate (DHI). He visits us twice a year (unannounced) and inspects and advises on our milking procedures to ensure we produce clean milk. By succesfully passing todays visit, we can continue to sell our raw milk. We also have our milk sampled by the DHI which again must pass. It was a good visit with Mark today. He was pleased with the efforts we have made and the advice we have taken on board from the DHI to ensure we produce clean milk. He also thought the cows looked very clean and well too which was lovely.
